Job summary

Access Healthcare is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for Gaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal. You will assist with daily living activities, deliver high-quality care and work as part of a responsive team.

The role offers flexible hours, weekly pay and full Garda Vetting with uniform provided. QQI Level 5 required with relevant clinical experience and HIQA knowledge is preferred, CPR and handling trainings are a plus.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 with 3 core modules: Care Skills, Care of the Older Person, Care Support.
• Minimum 6 weeks experience in a clinical Irish healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of HIQA Standards.
• Up to date HSELAND Certificates.
• CPR & Patient Movement and Handling trainings.

Responsibilities

• To assist with all activities of daily living.
• Deliver high-quality care and implement best practices.
• Ability to tend to patient needs independently and as part of a team.
• Be a reliable and flexible staff member.
• To promote a safe environment and comply with all company policies/ procedures.
