Job description
Overview

Communicare is looking for empathetic, patient and dependable home carers who have a genuine passion for helping people and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

We have established ourselves as a key national provider of complex paediatric homecare services while also providing exceptional and individualised homecare to older people and those with disabilities.

Hours

Hours: 10 hours per week in homecare, including weekend hours.

Key responsibilities
  • Support our clients in daily tasks such as personal care, light housekeeping, food preparation.
  • Provide companionship and support with social activities.
  • Work to promote the health and well-being of clients through supports such as medication prompting.
Role requirements
  • FETAC/QQI Level 5 - Minimum of two modules completed.
  • Two written references.
  • CPR & Patient Moving and Handling Certificates
  • Full driving license and access to a car is a distinct advantage but not essential.
