Job summary

Westcare Homecare Ltd is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support clients in Ballinrobe and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily tasks, mobility, and wellbeing, delivering compassionate care in a home setting.

Flexible hours and ongoing training are provided. A driving licence and access to a car are required, with paid mileage and a supportive team to help you grow in your care career.

Qualifications

• Full Irish driving licence and access to a car.
• QQI Level 5 or equivalent.
• A caring, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Experience in care is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily tasks (washing, dressing, meals).
• Support mobility and independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns.
• Help create a safe, comfortable home environment.
