Our client is an award-winning international engineering consultancy experiencing rapid growth in Ireland. They are renowned for projects across Buildings, Water, Aviation, Energy, Transportation, and Rail markets.

Due to ongoing growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking a Health and Safety Consultant to join their team.

The Health and Safety Consulting team in Ireland employs full-time specialist consultants delivering high-quality safety advisory services to multidisciplinary teams and clients, especially in PSDP roles.

The role involves fulfilling duties as outlined in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, reviewing designs and risk assessments for compliance, attending coordination and stakeholder meetings, managing hazards and risks, advising clients and designers, supporting project teams, managing contractor safety documentation, overseeing project finances, and providing general safety consultancy services.

Additional responsibilities include supporting project bids, providing design safety support, developing client relationships, and contributing to safety culture improvements and safety programs.

Requirements:

• Relevant Health and Safety Degree/Diploma qualifying for IOSH membership or Engineering Degree recognized by Engineers Ireland with post-qualification safety training.
• Attendance at Engineers Ireland/ACEI PSDP CPD training.
• Strong knowledge of safety in design and construction safety.
• Experience in developing and enhancing safety policies, culture, and systems.
• Excellent report writing, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Flexibility to travel within Ireland.
• Full Irish/EU driving license.
