Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a Data Centre project in North Dublin. The successful candidate will report to the EHS Lead and will have excellent support and opportunities for career progression.

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with EHS laws, developing safety plans, and conducting site audits. Candidates must possess relevant Health & Safety qualifications and at least three years of experience in a similar position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to efficiently manage all EHS issues on site.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Safety Management system, EHS laws, and PSCS plans.
• Develop construction plans, support method statements, and risk assessments.
• Perform H&S reporting and metric analysis.

Health & Safety Advisor

Health & Safety Advisor required for a very well-established multi‑disciplinary contractor for a Data Centre project in North Dublin. The successful candidate would be reporting into the EHS Lead and will be provided excellent support and career progression opportunities.

Duties

• Ensure compliance with Safety Management system, EHS laws, and PSCS plans.
• Develop construction plans and support method statements, risk assessments, and safety permits.
• Perform H&S reporting, metric analysis, and update senior management.
• Maintain safety practices, oversee C.O.S.H.H assessments, hazardous control, and safety interventions.
• Conduct site audits, document results, follow up on actions, and keep statutory inspection records.
• Proactively manage project EHS, ensure sub-contractors follow EHS policies, and handle induction and training.
• Ensure project PPE availability and assist with accident investigations, communicating findings.

Requirements

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• 3 Years+ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of EHS Legislation.
• Ability to efficiently manage all EHS issues on site.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office.
