Job summary

Comfort Homecare is expanding in Cork and looking for Health Care Assistants to support clients in their homes. Ideal candidates should have QQI Level 5 qualifications, excellent communication skills, and a caring disposition. Qualifications

Job description

Due to continued growth and expansion in the Cork area, Comfort Homecare is recruiting additional Health Care Assistants to support our Cork team.

Driving is essential

We offer the most competitive rates starting at €15 per hour. Higher rates apply on Sundays. Half-hour calls are €10 plus a travel allowance of 41c per km. Additional benefits are also provided.

Healthcare Assistants are needed both part-time and full-time in the Cork area to assist clients in remaining safely and happily in their own homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that highly values its staff.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
  • Be fully reliable and dependable
  • Have a full clean driver's license and use of your own vehicle
  • Be flexible with a can-do attitude
  • Possess a caring and kind disposition with a person-centred approach
  • Have good communication and practical skills
  • Some experience and training are desirable
  • Be available for weekend and evening work

Responsibilities include:

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time

Part-time hours: 18-40 hours per week

Experience:

  • HCA minimum 1 year required

Licence/Certification:

  • Certificate in Care Skills or Healthcare Support (desirable)
  • Full clean driver's license required
