Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Head of Platform for a leading non-profit organisation to drive digital transformation and enterprise architecture. You will report to the CIO and manage a multi-disciplinary Change & Transformation team with a strong Dynamics 365 focus.

The role requires hands-on Dynamics 365 leadership, expertise in Power Platform and Azure, and a track record of delivering complex IT roadmaps while driving innovation and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a Lead Developer, Architect, or Technical Lead.
• Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure services.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex IT roadmaps.
• Hands-on vendor management experience, RFP assessment, and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with ITIL alignment, enterprise integration, and AI governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical governance across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and core systems.
• Lead and coach Project Managers, Business Analysts, and QA professionals.
• Direct external partner delivery, review technical proposals, manage contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Leadership: Provide technical governance and oversight across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and core enterprise systems.


• Team Management: Lead and coach Project Managers, Business Analysts, and QA professionals. Build internal D365 capability to reduce third-party dependency.


• Vendor & Commercial Delivery: Direct external partner delivery, review technical proposals, manage contracts, and ensure value for money.


• Service Management: Champion ITIL best practices across incident response, release management, security, and compliance.
