Job summary

Avista is seeking a Head of Discipline - Physiotherapy for East Limerick Childrens Services, Limerick, for a 12-month period. Salary is subject to public sector experience and pro-rating for hours.

The successful candidate will hold a professional physiotherapy qualification, CORU registration, and at least five years of post-qualification pediatric experience, with leadership experience and a track record in multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Professional Physiotherapy Qualification from a recognized third level institution.
• Current CORU registration.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in pediatric/children’s disability physiotherapy.
• Proven leadership experience in healthcare or disability services.
• Experience with Children’s Disability Network Teams or integrated service models.
• Full Driver's Licence and own car.
• Permit to work in Ireland.
• Postgraduate qualification in management/leadership.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures related to children’s disability services.
• Experience in quality improvement initiatives and clinical pathway development.
