Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Head of Oracle Service Delivery Management to lead a high-calibre team and own service delivery across Oracle platforms within a hybrid environment. The role focuses on customer success, strategic governance and continuous improvement across managed services.

You’ll shape service strategy, drive growth with key accounts, and ensure operational excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximise client value and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven service management leader with experience in a managed services environment.
  • Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing revenue, forecasting and profitability.
  • Experience operating within Enterprise Applications Managed Services environments.
  • Knowledge of Oracle SaaS, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise application platforms.
  • ITIL certification is desirable.

  • Support bids, renewals and service transitions, ensuring scalable and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain accountability for commercial performance, forecasting accuracy and profitability.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced service management leader to take ownership of the Service Delivery Management function within our Enterprise Applications ASPIRE Managed Services business.

Leading a team of Service Delivery Managers, you'll shape service strategy, drive customer success, and help some of our most strategic customers maximise the value of their Oracle investments across SaaS, E-Business Suite, JD Edwards and PeopleSoft environments.

This is a highly visible leadership role that combines people leadership, customer engagement, commercial accountability and service innovation.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, strengthen customer relationships, develop high-performing teams and contribute directly to the continued growth of one of Version 1's most successful managed services businesses.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be a proven service management leader with experience leading teams within a managed services environment and a track record of delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • Commercial awareness with experience managing revenue, forecasting and profitability.
  • A passion for service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience operating within Enterprise Applications Managed Services environments.
  • Knowledge of Oracle SaaS, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise application platforms.
  • Experience working within structured governance and service management frameworks.
  • ITIL certification is desirable.
