Job summary

Life Science Recruitment seeks a Head of Digital & Technology for a growing organisation in Ireland. You will lead CRM, apps, data, web, automation, integrations and AI, partnering with senior leadership on digital transformation.

You will own Zoho CRM and Zoho One, manage offshore resources, drive GDPR and security governance, and develop a practical technology roadmap aligned with business priorities. This role offers the opportunity to scale the digital function, build a small internal team,

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on CRM experience with Zoho or comparable systems.
• Experience configuring CRM workflows, modules, APIs and integrations.
• Experience managing offshore/remote development teams.
• Experience with Zoho One or equivalent ecosystem components (Creator/Projects/Campaigns/Mail/Analytics/WorkDrive).
• Knowledge of GDPR and cyber security and ability to translate tech decisions to business outcomes.

• Collaborate with CEO/CFO/COO to translate priorities into tech solutions.

Our client, a growing organisation working to support healthier environments and better outcomes, are currently recruiting for a Head of Digital & Technology to join their team on a permanent basis. As Head of Digital & Technology, you will lead across CRM, applications, data, web, automation, integrations and AI, working directly with senior leadership on digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the organisation’s Zoho CRM and wider Zoho One ecosystem
• Configure workflows, automation, custom modules, Blueprints, APIs and integrations
• Build and maintain custom applications, databases and business systems
• Own the technical infrastructure behind the organisation’s multi-site web estate, including domains, DNS, hosting, SSL and CMS
• Manage and develop the client portal and digital services
• Own marketing technology, including email automation, segmentation and deliverability
• Manage data, reporting and analytics across the business
• Brief, manage and quality-assure offshore/remote development resources
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and AI/LLM integration
• Develop and deliver the organisation’s digital transformation roadmap
• Work closely with the CEO, CFO/COO and senior leadership team to translate business priorities into practical technology solutions
• Ensure appropriate GDPR, cyber security and technology governance
• Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, customer experience and commercial performance
• Develop the digital function over time, including building and leading a small internal team

Requirements

• 5+ years’ hands‑on experience with Zoho CRM or a comparable CRM, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
• Strong experience configuring CRM systems rather than simply using them
• Demonstrable experience with workflows, automation, custom modules, Blueprints, APIs and integrations
• Broader experience across Zoho One or an equivalent technology ecosystem, ideally including at least three areas such as Creator, Projects, Campaigns, Mail, Analytics or WorkDrive
• Experience building a custom application or database from scratch, ideally using Zoho Creator or a comparable low-code platform
• Experience managing and directing an offshore or remote development team
• Hands‑on experience owning a live multi‑site web estate, including domains, DNS, hosting, SSL and CMS
• Experience with email marketing technology, including automation, segmentation and deliverability
• Experience implementing an AI/LLM integration or workflow in a live business environment
• Practical understanding of GDPR and cyber security
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect technology decisions to business outcomes
