European Tech Recruit is seeking a Security Hardware Design Verification Engineer for Cork, Ireland. You will verify hardware IP and SoC designs, working with international teams on security subsystems including root of trust and cryptographic accelerators.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.

We are working with a leading global semiconductor company seeking a Security Hardware Design Verification Engineer to join their growing team in Cork, Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced Security IP for next-generation SoCs across mobile, computing, and data centre applications. You will be part of a highly skilled international team developing and verifying complex security subsystems, including hardware root of trust, cryptographic accelerators, and secure processing technologies.

You will work alongside international experts to develop and verify cutting-edge security technologies, contributing to complex, high-performance semiconductor products.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with global teams across hardware architecture, software engineering, SoC design, and security penetration testing.
• Contribute to the verification of complex security subsystems incorporating CPUs, Networks-on-Chip (NoCs), cryptographic accelerators, key management, and other security components.
• Develop and maintain verification environments for hardware IP and SoC-level designs.
• Support the verification of security subsystems designed to meet stringent industry security certification standards, including AVA_VAN.5 and EAL5+.
• Perform unit-level and SoC-level verification to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with design specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in hardware design verification, testing, and validation of complex SoCs.
• Strong understanding of SoC verification methodologies, tools, and industry-standard practices.
• Experience developing unit-level and SoC-level testbenches using VMM, OVM, or UVM.
• Familiarity with Gate-Level Simulation (GLS) verification flows for SoC designs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of hardware security architectures and security IP.
• Understanding of cryptographic algorithms and their hardware implementation.
• Exposure to security concepts, hardware root of trust, secure processing, or related technologies.
