Job summary

Sodexo Ireland is seeking an experienced GxP Cleaning Manager to lead the cleaning operation at a busy pharmaceutical site in Limerick. You will manage a team of GxP Supervisors and ensure cleaning is safe, compliant, and aligned with client and company standards.

The role involves audits, training, resource planning, and close collaboration with Lilly stakeholders and onsite teams to maintain excellent service and a compliant cleaning program.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced

GxP Cleaning Manager to lead the cleaning operation at a busy pharmaceutical site in Limerick.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the cleaning service is

safe, compliant, consistently delivered and aligned with both client and company standards. You’ll lead a team of GxP Supervisors and work closely with the wider site management and client teams.

The Role

• Lead and manage the GxP cleaning operation and a team of
• Ensure cleaning is delivered in line with agreed

SOPs, SLAs, quality standards and schedules.

• Carry out regular cleaning, safety and quality audits and ensure corrective actions are closed out.
• Ensure the team is appropriately resourced with the right levels of

labour, chemicals and equipment.

• Drive a strong

health & safety and GxP culture across the department.

• Ensure all colleagues receive the required training, including safety, quality and technical training.
• Manage team performance, development, rosters, attendance and employee relations.
• Work closely with Lilly stakeholders and other onsite teams to respond to client requirements and maintain excellent service.
• Ensure the department remains

audit ready across client, operational, safety, quality and compliance audits.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the cleaning service and support sustainability.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience managing a

cleaning or soft services operation at a similar level.

• Strong people management and leadership experience.
• Experience working within a

highly regulated or compliance-driven environment.

• Good knowledge of

Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage resources effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and standards.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership and implement solutions.
• Good working knowledge of

MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Experience or qualifications in

GxP, BICS, ISO/quality management systems or IOSH would be advantageous, as would previous experience within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.
