Job summary

Castle Leslie Estate in County Monaghan is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to join a supportive team and maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. The role entails structured routines and clear guidance to deliver reliable housekeeping services.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, cleaning guest bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas, restocking amenities, and reporting maintenance issues in line with hotel standards. A collaborative, reliable communicator is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and colleagues in a polite and respectful manner
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas
• Working as part of a team with clear instructions and support
• Providing consistent and reliable housekeeping service in line with hotel standards
• Completing full cleaning services for vacated bedrooms
• Refreshing stay-over bedrooms, including replenishing amenities
• Learning and following the standards and procedures of the Accommodation Department
• Reporting any maintenance or housekeeping issues to a supervisor
