Job summary

BaxterStorey is hiring a passionate Food Service Assistant to join our Castletroy Limerick team. You will assist with food prep, serve customers, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in a busy dining environment.

The role offers 24 hours per week, with shifts from 17:00 to 23:00, Monday to Thursday, in Castletroy. We value teamwork, development, and a positive guest experience while providing training, meals on shift, and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent customer service and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Serve meals and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Restock serving lines, condiment stations, and dining areas as needed.
• Assist with inventory management and storage of food items and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Participate in cleaning and organizing kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with special events and catering services as required.
