Job summary

Barden | B Corp in Ireland is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to drive international tax strategy within a fast-growing, acquisitive group. You will take a lead role across M&A, tax structuring and strategic tax projects, in close collaboration with senior stakeholders.

You will mentor a team, oversee cash tax forecasting, tax reporting and compliance, and build strong relationships with Finance, Treasury, Legal and M&A to support strategic business decisions.

• Commercial, pragmatic and ambitious tax professional ready to take the next step.
• Experience across international tax, M&A and tax structuring.
• Big 4 Senior Manager/Associate Director level with relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Leading tax activities on M&A transactions, from target evaluation and due diligence through to post-deal integration.
• Designing and implementing tax-efficient acquisition and financing structures.
• Advising on wider strategic tax projects, including transfer pricing, tax audits and supply chain initiatives.
• Taking ownership of cash tax and effective tax rate forecasting, tax reporting and compliance oversight.
• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of tax professionals within a high-performing function.
• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Legal and M&A.
• Providing commercially focused tax advice and contributing directly to wider strategic business decisions.

Working as part of a commercially focused international tax team, you will take a lead role across M&A, tax structuring and strategic tax projects, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business.

About the person

The group are looking for a commercial, pragmatic and ambitious tax professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You will be comfortable operating with autonomy while working collaboratively across the business and engaging with senior stakeholders. Strong experience across international tax, M&A and tax structuring will be important.

Experience within another multinational organisation would be advantageous. However, Big 4 Senior Managers and Associate Directors or above with relevant experience will also be considered.
