Job description

Foodhub is an international hospitality technology business providing online ordering, EPOS, payments, kiosks and digital solutions to restaurants and takeaways. With headquarters in Dublin and operations across international markets, we are building the teams and systems that support our next stage of growth.

About the role

We are looking for a technically strong, commercially aware finance leader to run group reporting and strengthen everyday financial control. You will turn complex multi-entity information into reliable reporting, resolve intercompany issues and help local teams work consistently. This is an opportunity for a controller or finance manager ready for broader group responsibility.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the month-end close and consolidated management reporting, including entity submissions, eliminations and foreign currency translation.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances, investigate differences and aged items, and improve the accuracy of management charges, loans and other group transactions.
  • Coordinate statutory accounts, audits and tax compliance across Ireland, the UK, India, Australia, New Zealand and the US with local teams and advisers.
  • Maintain clear intercompany agreements and support transfer-pricing documentation and tax reviews, escalating technical decisions to the finance leader.
  • Deliver useful variance analysis and financial insight for budgets, forecasts and operational decisions.
  • Improve finance systems and controls, using appropriate automation to reduce manual work and strengthen reporting quality.
  • Support acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration, and coach local finance colleagues on clear ownership and close deadlines.
What you will bring
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification, with strong accounting, group consolidation and financial control experience.
  • Typically five or more years of post-qualification experience, including responsibility for multi-entity reporting. Strong finance managers stepping up are welcome.
  • Direct experience resolving intercompany and currency issues, plus an ability to coordinate auditors, local teams and advisers across jurisdictions.
  • Evidence of improving processes and leading or coordinating a team. You must be comfortable preparing and reviewing the work yourself.
  • Useful additional experience: Experience in technology, SaaS, payments or a founder-led business; US reporting and tax exposure; transfer pricing or acquisition integration.

We value people who take ownership, move quickly, stay close to customers and challenge constructively. You will work in a founder-led environment, stay close to the detail and build practical processes that help teams deliver.
