Job summary

ENERCON Ireland is hiring a Grid Operations Engineer to be based in Tralee, Co. Kerry, or within a weekly commutable distance. The role involves switching operations, SCADA support, and ensuring HV safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has an electrical qualification and at least four years of wind turbine experience, with willingness to travel nationwide and potentially to the UK for training.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or degree required.
• 4+ years wind turbine experience is essential.
• SCADA monitoring and fault resolution experience is a plus.
• Willingness to progress to AE status within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Authorise, supervise and perform switching operations as a Switching authorised dispatcher.
• Organise materials and labour to repair MV/HV equipment.
• First level fault analysis and SCADA support.
• Involvement in SCADA installs on site for upcoming projects.
