Village Vets Castleknock is seeking a qualified or soon‑to‑qualify RVN to join our supportive small animal practice. You will be supported by experienced nurses, vets, and a Head Nurse, with mentoring and ongoing learning.

You will assist with anaesthesia, diagnostics and surgery, administer treatments, maintain hygiene and records, and help with front‑of‑house duties while delivering excellent client service. The role offers a 4‑day week, 1 in 3 Saturdays, and 1 in 13 Sundays; salary €31,000.

Competenze

• Qualified or soon‑to‑qualify RVN with eligibility for VCI registration.
• Experience in small animal practice is an advantage.

About the Role

You will play an important role in patient care and client experience while developing your clinical and professional skills in line with Village Vets’ standards and the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI).

• Support vets with procedures including anaesthesia, diagnostics, and surgery under supervision.
• Administer treatments and provide high‑quality nursing care to patients and inpatients.
• Maintain excellent hygiene standards and accurate clinical records, including medication handling.
• Assist with front‑of‑house duties and stock control as needed.
• Develop clinical skills through training, mentorship, and hands‑on experience.
• Promote Pet Health Plans and Pet Insurance to clients.
• Complete ad hoc nursing or administrative duties and contribute to an outstanding client experience through teamwork and professionalism.

• Qualified or soon‑to‑qualify RVN with eligibility for VCI registration.
