Qualifications

• MVB or equivalent degree and eligibility for VCI registration.
• New graduate or soon-qualified veterinary surgeon seeking structured early‑career support.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with good time management and organisation.
• Commitment to CPD and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and care for patients to Village Vets’ high standards with appropriate support.
• Investigate and manage cases within the practice before referral, according to experience level.
• Share responsibility for patient care, including effective handover and follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate medical records and safely prescribe and dispense medications under guidance.
• Communicate clearly with clients about diagnostics and treatment plans, delivering an excellent client experience.
• Promote Pet Health Plans and Pet Insurance.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high standards of care and clinic presentation.
• Complete required administrative tasks and ad hoc duties in line with VCI and CPD requirements.
