The Dornan Group invites applications for its Quantity Surveying Graduate Programme, with placements on projects in Dublin or Mainland Europe. The programme combines structured training, mentorship and real project responsibility to develop skills and leadership capabilities.

Successful candidates undertake pre-contract cost control, cost reporting and variation pricing, while being supported to grow professionally and thrive in a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-contract cost control and documentation.
• Producing fully priced and detailed bills of quantities, labour hours and materials for the complete project life cycle.
• Preparing costs for variations.
• Producing progress and cost reports when requested.
• Reporting to senior management on progression of projects.
• Involvement in cost plans, tracking labour costs and efficiency throughout projects.
• Dealing with clients, contractors etc in a professional manner.

The Dornan Quantity Surveying Development programme allows participants to take on responsibility on live projects, developing skills and knowledge through structured training, mentorship and guidance. It increases the individual's motivation to perform their job to the best of their ability and grow into a great leader. Our development programme aims to push participants out of their comfort zone and into a phase of learning and growth.

Your day to day will include:
