Overview

KOSTAL IRELAND GmbH, is a global manufacturing business which manufactures electronic devices for the automotive industry. With over 700+ highly skilled people on our team here in Ireland, located in Abbeyfeale in Limerick and Mallow in Cork.

Purpose of the job

Rotational 2yr Programme with 4 six month rotation periods in Production Quality Mallow and Abbeyfeale, Quality Planning, Customer Quality

Responsibilities
  • Statistical techniques such as capability measures, statistical process
  • Customer manufacturing requirements
  • Mechanical strain and risk analysis
  • Problem solving
  • New product / equipment introduction
  • Health & Safety of Self and others
  • Responsibility for environmental issues within your area and ensure all employees are working towards Company environmental targets
  • Any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor / Manager
Experience
  • Good understanding of production, engineering and test processes.
  • Project Management knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Problem solving ability essential.
Knowledge & Special Skills
  • Very good PC skills essential with good knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Good presentation skills
Personality Requirements
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership ability. Highly motivated person with excellent drive, initiative and time keeping.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic or Quality Engineering (NFQ Level 8)
