Our graduate programme fast tracks you to success, moving you from graduate to qualified accountant with either Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Moore has platinum status with ACCA, allowing ACCA trainees to avail of the exemption to prepare a training diary during the course of their traineeship with us.

Our programme is aimed at third level (level 8) graduates coming from accounting/business & finance academic backgrounds. You do not need to have had prior practical experience in an accounting firm in order to apply.

We offer a comprehensive traineeship to cover all aspects of your development. Alongside the varied work experience you will receive, we also provide our trainees with the best in house training.

We will be recruiting in several of our Cork based teams including:

  • Tax, where you will have the opportunity provide our clients with leading edge tax advice and compliance services. We offer tax planning solutions to help our clients deal with their taxes efficiently, and we provide a full suite of tax compliance service to help our clients meet their obligations. Services provided include:
  • Personal Taxes
  • Corporate tax
  • VAT
  • Employment Taxes
  • Stamp Duty
  • Corporate reorganisations and restructurings
  • Succession planning for corporate & private clients
  • Domiciliary / Residence Advice

Governance, Risk and Assurance (GRA), a dedicated team who provide quality internal audit and related advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your traineeship will include:

  • Evaluating internal controls
  • Preparation and completion of internal audit work programmes
  • Drafting internal audit reports as required by client assignment.
  • Drafting internal audit plans and strategies.

Audit, with a wide range of clients across many sectors including manufacturing, shipping, property management, financial services, aviation, construction, leisure and hospitality, and technology your traineeship will include mentoring and development of skills in the areas of:

  • Audit cases
  • Audit exempt cases
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Corporation tax
  • Management accounts
  • VAT/PAYE & other tax areas

Medical and Professional, a team dedicated to supporting a significant portfolio of professional (medical consultants, GP’s, solicitors, barristers, auctioneers, vets, engineers and dentists) in Cork, where your traineeship will provide you with the best possible training in the broadest range of accounting disciplines including:

  • Compliance accounts and preparation of same
  • Corporate accounts (audit & audit exempt)
  • Law Society Reporting
  • Personal tax & tax planning
