Job summary

Arcadis is launching a two-year Graduate GROW Programme in Ireland for STEM graduates. From day one you’ll contribute to client engagements and project work, building technical expertise while developing business acumen through centralized graduate training.

You’ll be supported by managers to seek opportunities and broaden your experience, with exposure to HVAC, energy efficiency and sustainable design. You will join a multidisciplinary team, expected to graduate in 2027 or recently in 2025/2026

Qualifications

• Graduating in 2027 or recently graduated in 2025/2026 with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrates resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and team orientation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence and consult stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC/Building Services design across projects including Energy Saving Review and Sustainability systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across industrial and semiconductor sectors, and assist with commissioning, validation and construction management activities.

Role description

Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, sitting along client work and real projects from day one. Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build your technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work, whilst business acumen and professional skills will be developed through centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Although there are no formal rotations, graduates are encouraged and supported by their managers to proactively seek opportunities, to broaden their experience and support their development.

Role accountabilities

Joining a multidisciplinary team, you will support our clients with their needs covering aspects such as HVAC, mechanical, architectural, process, electrical, commissioning, validation, and construction management services, across the industrial and semiconductor sectors. As a HVAC Engineer you will support on key activities within HVAC/Building Services design. This will include supporting activities and projects across areas such as Energy Saving Review and Implementation,Sustainability systems,HVAC from basic ventilation systems to Grade A clean rooms, Chilled/Cooling water, Heating Hot Water/Heat Pumps, Steam and Condensate, Compressed Air and CHP.

• Accepted degrees: BEng or MEng in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications & Experience

• You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026, with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
• You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
• You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from homewhen required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
