Graduate Engineer We are looking for a Graduate Engineer with an interest in Instrumentation, Control, and Automation systems. You will join our NRNN & Transportation teams and assist our water team on a high profile project in the Bedfordshire area. Locations: Luton, Bedfordshire

Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum with potential £4,750 car allowance depending on eligibility

Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k

Starting date: September 2026

Responsibilities

What you will be responsible for?

  • As a Graduate Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our engineering team, assisting the team on Instrumentation, Control & Automation engineering systems
Key duties
  • Implement control strategies that optimize water treatment processes and ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, risk assessments, and operation manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant water sector regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Review ICA related installation and commissioning works on site, ensuring compliance with quality and asset standards.

What we are looking for
  • We’re looking for people due to graduate in 2026, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Engineering
  • A related Degree in Engineering
  • You're excited about starting a career in construction engineering

  • You enjoy solving problems and have strong analytical abilities.
  • Hold a full UK drivers' licence.
