We are working with a leading structural steel contractor in Ireland to appoint a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience across structural steel design, detailing, estimating and site operations, while developing their career within an experienced engineering team.

The role involves producing and amending 2D drawings using AutoCAD, developing drawings and models with Tekla, carrying

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Graduate or recently qualified Civil Engineer.
• Some knowledge of AutoCAD desirable.
• Interest in learning Tekla and developing steel detailing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Produce and amend 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop structural steel drawings and models using Tekla.
• Carry out material take-offs and quantity measurements.
• Assist with estimating, costing and project preparation.
• Attend site visits to gain practical experience and support project delivery.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, fabricators and site teams.
• Assist with technical documentation and project coordination.
