Job summary

Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin, invites applications for a Grade IV HR Administrator on a 3 year specified purpose contract. Hours of Work are 21 hours per week, with the allocation at the Department Head's discretion, reporting to the HR Operations Manager in the Human Resources department.

Remuneration is the current HSE salary scale from €36,470 (point 1) to €56,018 (point 12). Closing date is 8 September 2026 and proposed interview date is 18 September 2026 onsite at Peamount

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience to deal with queries and will problem solve in areas of work.
  • Exceptional written and oral skills are required as well as the ability to multi-task.
  • Good organisational and time management skills are also required.

PURPOSE OF THE POST

The purpose of this post is to provide a comprehensive administrative support to HR Department and to play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the operational requirements as a key point of contact.

The successful candidate will have the knowledge and experience to deal with queries as they arise and will be expected to problem solve in areas of work and develop solutions in a timely manner. Exceptional written and oral skills are required as well as the ability to multi-task. Good organisational and time management skills are also required.

POINT ON SALARY SCALE

New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale (*exceptions may apply for the below grades, provided proof of recognised service is submitted by VOS)

  • *Clinical and Therapy Grades and Staff Nurses*: Incremental credit may be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011) in the Civil Service, local authorities, public service, health service and other public service bodies and statutory agencies.
