A leading timber company in Wicklow is seeking a part-time Goods Co-ordinator/Accounts Administrator. In this role, you will handle sales delivery notes, invoices, and liaise with customs for timber deliveries to the UK. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of accounts experience and strong attention to detail. This is an office-based position with 22.5 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years accounts/administration experience required.
  • Full working knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Check sawn timber loads and prepare sales delivery notes.
  • Liaise with customs agent for timber deliveries to the UK.
  • Prepare sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Chase debtors for Irish and UK customers.
  • Record all goods inwards and outwards.

Goods Co-ordinator/Accounts Administrator

Woodfab Timber Limited are currently recruiting a part-time Goods Co-ordinator/Accounts Administrator in Aughrim, Co. Wicklow. We produce a wide range of fencing and pallet materials for both the Irish and UK markets.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Checking sawn timber loads, preparing all sales delivery notes and liaising with customs agent for all loads of timber going to the UK
  • Preparing sales invoices and credit notes
  • Liaising with others to ensure orders, delivery notes, invoices, etc. are issued in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Chasing debtors for all Irish customers and any UK customers
  • Raising orders on accounts system
  • Recording all goods inwards and outwards
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure the company runs smoothly

The Candidate Will Have

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Full working knowledge of the MS Office suite and especially Excel. Knowledge of Intact and Navision would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication & people skills
  • 2-3 years accounts/administration experience

Hours of work 22.5 hours per week (8.30am-1.00pm Monday to Friday). This is an office-based position.
