Job summary

BioMarin is seeking a Lab Services technician to oversee day-to-day laboratory operations and ensure timely support for the Biologics Centre of Excellence lab studies. You will maintain a safe and efficient work environment and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timely study delivery.

The role requires 1–2 years of GMP-lab housekeeping experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ELN and lab equipment maintenance. This is a 12‑month contract position based in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years laboratory housekeeping experience in a GMP facility is preferred.
• Experience working in a lab environment and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations and support Biologics Centre of Excellence lab studies.
• Prepare buffers, media and cleaning solutions; verify pH, conductivity, osmolality and other attributes; document results in ELN.
• Complete required BPD and safety Risk Assessment training.
• Support lab-based study requests from Manufacturing and VQC.
• Maintain lab equipment and perform regular calibrations and temperature checks.
