GMP Facilities Engineer - Onsite Role

Job summary

AbbVie in Ballytivnan, Sligo, is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our on-site team. You will manage the site facilities request process and act as the primary contact for the facilities service provider, ensuring GMP and non-GMP areas meet required standards.

You will oversee pest control, cleaning, canteen services, audits, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives, reporting to the Site Services Lead.

Qualifications

• Level 8 qualification in Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a cGMP environment.
• Minimum 5+ years work experience.
• Ability to work across multiple different departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pest control program and on-site service provider.
• Manage the facility cleaning program and cleaning service provider across GMP and non-GMP areas, ensuring compliance with required standards.
• Oversee canteen services and the on-site canteen service provider, ensuring catering services are delivered to the highest standard.
• Present quality management reviews for GMP cleaning and pest control programs.
• Act as the site’s lead contact for internal, global, and regulatory audits relating to facility maintenance, pest control, and cleaning programs.
• Manage grounds maintenance and landscaping, acting as the point of contact for the service provider.
• Ensure compliance with global and site engineering and quality policies and procedures.
• Comply with all EHS policies and procedures.

Education

Level 8 qualification in Engineering
