Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is offering a QC Sample Management Intern position within the QC Materials team at Cruiserath, Dublin. This internship provides hands-on experience in sample management, cGMP compliance and laboratory operations, with mentorship and structured training.

You will support sample processing, logging, and documentation, while developing practical skills in a pharmaceutical lab and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum third-level qualification in Chemistry or Biology.
• At least 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare laboratory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with manufacturing to route Drug Substance samples in time.
• Coordinate with Engineering Stores for Drug Product samples delivery.
• Manage TempTales and shipping documents for external samples.
• Log samples in LIMS/CIMS or logbooks and label accordingly.
• Store backups and reserve samples.
• Perform monthly reconciliation and report deviations to Lab Manager.
• Support buffer preparation for the QC Separations lab.
• Generate and update SOPs and other relevant documents.
• Maintain GMP compliance and complete required training.
• Keep abreast of industry requirements affecting lab operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other Lab Manager indicated tasks.
