Job summary

Tandem Project Management Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for a leading biopharmaceutical client in Waterford.

The role focuses on technical leadership, process engineering support across GMP manufacturing, and driving continuous improvement to ensure reliable product supply. The successful candidate will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams on process development, technology transfer, capital projects and product quality attributes,

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Advanced qualification in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy or related field advantageous.
• Experience in pharma/biotech GMP environments.
• Experience with DoE and statistical analysis techniques.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing and lyophilisation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support across GMP manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to improve processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality.
• Support capital projects and technology transfer activities.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA closures.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation per GMP.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
