Job summary

Perigus Energy is seeking a Head of Tax to own the group tax strategy and drive value across its multi‑jurisdictional framework. Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with investment, finance, treasury and advisory teams in Ireland, the UK, Germany and Spain to reduce cash leakage and optimise structures as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant and/or CTA with corporate tax experience.
• Experience in Ireland and UK tax legislation; European exposure.
• Experience implementing transfer pricing policies.
• Good knowledge of IFRS tax accounting.
• Renewables or infrastructure experience is a plus.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the group tax strategy and governance.
• Identify and reduce tax leakage and optimise cash flow.
• Lead tax structuring on acquisitions and group transactions.
• Oversee compliance, VAT, transfer pricing, and tax risk.
• Partner with treasury, finance, legal and external advisers.
