Job summary

Coopman Search & Selection is partnering with a specialist aviation platform to appoint a Sales Director for Ireland (Flexible) with responsibilities across Europe. You will drive commercial growth by building strategic relationships with airlines, MROs, lessors and OEMs, leading business development and managing the full sales cycle from proposals to contract.

The ideal candidate has proven aviation sales experience, an established airline and MRO network, strong negotiation and relationship

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aviation sales.
• Established network across airlines, MROs, lessors, etc.
• Strong business development track record with wining new customers.
• Excellent commercial acumen and senior stakeholder influence.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently in a high‑growth setting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of influencing senior decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel across Europe to support engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial sales strategy across a designated territory to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Build and strengthen relationships with airlines, MROs, OEMs, lessors.
• Expand existing customer accounts by increasing market penetration.
• Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and manage the full sales cycle to contract execution.
• Develop long-term customer partnerships through a consultative and solutions-focused sales approach.
• Collaborate with operations, inventory, and supply chain to ensure delivery of requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and CRM updates.
• Represent the business at industry conferences, trade shows, and meetings across Europe.

Location: Ireland (Flexible)

This role will focus on driving commercial growth across a key European territory by developing strategic relationships with airlines, MROs, lessors and OEMs. The successful candidate will lead business development initiatives, expand existing customer accounts, and secure new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with operations, inventory, and supply chain teams to ensure effective delivery of customer requirements
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and CRM updates to support business planning
• Represent the business at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings across Europe

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience within aviation sales
• Established network across airlines, MROs, Lessors etc.
• Strong business development experience with a proven ability to win new customers and grow existing accounts
• Excellent commercial acumen with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
