This role will support both Quora and Poe hiring.

About the Team and Role:

The Recruiting Team at Quora is at the forefront of driving the company’s growth by hiring and retaining world-class talent to shape the future of AI. We specialize in innovative strategies to build diverse pipelines for both technical and non-technical roles, including senior engineering hiring. Our team thrives on balancing multiple pipelines, crafting effective outreach strategies, and leveraging cutting-edge tools to connect with top talent globally. Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates for Quora and Poe via LinkedIn, Juicebox, Boolean, and creative techniques
  • Review inbound applications and identify qualified candidates
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to build and manage proactive pipelines
  • Manage the candidate journey from outreach to interview coordination, ensuring a smooth experience
  • Conduct market research, maintain talent maps, and build a diverse candidate network for current and future needs
  • Achieve sourcing metrics (outreach volume, pipeline goals, time-to-source targets)
  • Write compelling outreach campaigns to engage prospective candidates

Minimum Requirements:

  • Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
  • 4+ years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience, including 2+ years in talent sourcing for engineering roles
  • Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, sequencing tools, ATSs, and similar platforms
  • Experience sourcing talent internationally for global organizations, specifically in North America, with an understanding of diverse markets and hiring practices
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and ability to work proactively in ambiguous environments

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Ashby
  • Prior experience recruiting and/or sourcing in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Love of learning and the Quora and Poe products
