Job summary

Natus Sensory Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead production operations for a portfolio of electro‑mechanical medical devices.

This role drives operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate combines a strong engineering background with proven operational leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• 7+ years of progressive operations leadership in regulated manufacturing.
• Strong technical understanding of electro‑mechanical products and processes.
• Proven Lean and continuous improvement with measurable results.
• Experience with Make vs. Buy analyses and strategic sourcing.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily global production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Develop and execute global strategies to improve productivity and throughput.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and value stream mapping initiatives.
• Identify and implement productivity and cost-reduction projects.
• Improve lead times and responsiveness to customer demand.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for manufacturing, quality, and delivery.
• Lead Make vs. Buy analyses to optimize manufacturing strategy.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Customer Service teams.
• Support new product introductions with scalable manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate automation and tooling to increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485, and other regs.
• Develop standard work and process documentation.
• Lead and develop production teams with a culture of accountability.
• Manage budgets, capital expenditures, and staffing plans.
