Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading Manufacturing Operations at a senior level in a regulated environment.
• Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent senior management experience.
• Commercial acumen with understanding of financial and supply chain implications of operational decisions, including budgeting and planning.
• Experience within the European medical device sector is advantageous.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and eliminating waste, with a best-in-class mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Operations across the site, from raw materials to finished product.
• Lead the SIOP process and governance, aligning supply and demand at a strategic level.
• Sit on the SLT and shape the direction of the Operations function.
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing senior Ops team.
• Collaborate with global sister sites to drive connected, scalable performance.

Director of Manufacturing Operations – Medical Device | Limerick

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with a global medical device manufacturer based in Limerick, a business at the forefront of life-saving technology, with serious scale and even bigger ambition.

We're looking for a strategic, hands-on operations leader to take the reins of the entire Operations function - Production, Procurement, Quality Control, Facilities, and Health, Safety & Environment, and shape how this site performs for years to come. You'll sit on the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the VP & General Manager, with a genuine seat at the table and real influence over the direction of the business.
