About the Team

As a Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor you are in charge of designing and deliverying the strategies for efficient and effective safety and sustainability improvement programmes across multiple offices. You will report into the Vice President, Global Real Estate and Facilities and liaise with office administrators globally to ensure all aspects of our health, safety and sustainability management system are implemented.

As Health, Safety and Sustainability Advisor you will use your knowledges and skills to promote a positive health and safety culture in the workplace that values sustainability for the environment.

What You\'ll Do
  • Provide technical and specialist advice to management teams in the implementation of the health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assist the Sales department with environment, health, and safety questions for prospective new customers
  • Monitor compliance with company standards, statutory and client requirements and advising business unit management on status and any areas for improvement or action
  • Undertake monitoring of the health, safety, and the environment processes
  • Calculate and monitor carbon emissions whilst developing and implementing new initiatives to reduce or offset carbon emissions.
  • Ensure the business meets legal requirements for ESOS
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to plans aimed at reducing the occurrence of incidents and reducing risk
  • Ensure the business reaches ISO 14001 Environmental Management status
  • Ensure all office locations adhere to local H&S laws, rules and legislation
  • Ensure all office locations carry a full set of current policies and processes to present to any adhoc auditors
  • Manage and reduce the cost of 3rd party H&S advisory services
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule, with just 2–3 days a week in our collaborative office environment
