You will combine a profound understanding of the medical device landscape and specialised knowledge in aerosol drug delivery technology with a robust track record of success in global marketing within the healthcare or medical device sectors.

You will take complex technical features and translate them into a compelling story about the value Aerogen brings, tailored to various stakeholders including healthcare professionals, patients, and regulatory bodies. Through your work, you will position the company for sustained growth and competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving industry.

What are the key responsibilities?
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement the comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Aerogen’s Acute Care segment, aligned with Aerogen’s ambition to continue to protect and grow this segment as core to its business.
  • Market Analysis & Insights: Lead market research efforts to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the aerosol drug delivery space. Provide actionable insights to guide product development and market positioning.
  • Brand Management: In partnership with Global Comms, help define and communicate the global brand strategy for the aerosol drug delivery portfolio, ensuring consistency across regions while tailoring to local market needs.
  • Product Launches: Partner with New Product Commercialization on global launch strategies for new products, working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory, sales, and medical affairs to ensure successful product introductions in key markets.
  • Digital Marketing & Content: Develop and oversee digital marketing strategies, including online campaigns, SEO, social media, and content marketing, to drive awareness and engagement within the healthcare community.
  • Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Cultivate relationships with global thought leaders, clinicians, and industry experts to enhance product credibility and adoption within the medical community.
  • Budget Management: Oversee global marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI on marketing initiatives.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Coordination: Ensure all marketing materials and strategies comply with local and international regulations, working closely with regulatory and legal teams.
  • Value Strategy: Build competencies and create excellence in market access strategies, contracting, pricing, and HEOR where strengthening is required.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product development, regulatory, and regional teams to align marketing efforts with broader corporate goals and ensure successful commercialization.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish KPIs and regularly report on the performance of marketing strategies, adjusting plans to meet dynamic market conditions and business objectives.
What education and experience are required?

  • Experience in respiratory medical device segments, ideally in the global nebulized aerosol device market, including customer and patient segments as well as competitor and partner product offerings.
  • Expertise in developing and executing global marketing strategies in highly regulated industries and can share examples of leading a cross-functional team in a matrix organisation, from setting a vision and defining clear expectations and roles to keeping the team on track for delivery.
What key skills will make you great at the role?
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including pharmaceutical partnerships, regulatory constraints, and clinical applications.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical skills and experience in market research and insights.
