Job summary

Adobe in Dublin is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the Accounting Center of Excellence (ACE). You will own the monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and statutory reporting for a portfolio of entities, partnering with teams in India and the US.

The role emphasizes SOX compliance, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. You will manage a team of accounting professionals, develop talent, and drive automation initiatives as the function scales.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA), or European equivalent.
• 3+ years post-qualification experience in a similar financial management and reporting role.
• Proven track record leading, developing, and motivating accounting professionals.
• Experience in a diverse, fast-paced multinational environment; software industry exposure is a plus.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP; exposure to SEC regulations; SAP experience is advantageous.
• European language skills and accounting experience are a plus.
• Familiarity with Ariba, Concur and OneSource is advantageous.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI, Blackline or Tableau experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of accounting professionals, setting goals and providing ongoing feedback.
• Own monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy under US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations including accruals, fixed assets, payroll, and revenue control accounts.
• Oversee preparation and filing of local statutory returns including VAT.
• Manage annual Statutory Financial Statements and year-end audit relationships with external auditors.
• Ensure adherence to SOX and internal control procedures, supporting audits.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, Credit and other Adobe teams to meet service levels.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and scalability across the function.
• Support AR/AP integration during acquisitions and new office locations.
• Travel to office locations as required; undertake ad hoc analyses.
