Job summary

SLR Consulting Ltd in Dublin is seeking an experienced Geologist/Engineering Geologist to join our Dublin team. You will work across geoscience disciplines, mentor junior staff, and develop your skills in engineering geology and geotechnical engineering.

The role involves supervising drilling programs, logging cores, planning ground investigations, preparing reports, and contributing to conceptual site models. Regular site work and CAD/GIS usage are expected.

Qualifications

BSc Geology or related Earth Science training.
Proven ability to communicate clearly in reports and verbally.
Experience with core logging and sampling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Supervision of mineral resource drilling programmes and geological core logging.
Planning procurement and management of ground investigations and reports.
Undertaking quarry inspections, sampling and sample management.
Generating and managing geological/geotechnical databases; petrographic analyses and reports.
Reviewing and reporting results of geological analyses and developing site models.
