Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Associate/Director level Geotechnical Engineer to lead our Foundations and Geotechnics team in Ireland. Based in Dublin, you will guide technical delivery on major projects, liaise with clients and authorities, and shape innovative ground engineering solutions across complex sites.
You will lead teams, manage risk and budgets, and travel as required to deliver high-quality designs in line with Eurocodes and project specs.
Competenze
- Masters or PhD in Civil Engineering with emphasis on geotechnics.
- Chartered Engineer with EI, ICE or equivalent.
- Experience leading medium to large teams of engineers.
- Experience delivering Ground Investigations, GIRs and GBRs.
- Mentored early career professionals as a DE or SCE.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Mansioni
- Oversee design of foundations and substructures for underground structures.
- Lead Ground Investigation scope, specifications, supervision and reporting.
- Provide technical leadership in 2D/3D modelling for soil/structure interaction.
- Manage multiple projects or one large project to time and budget.
- Engage with Local Authorities and transport authorities to grow client base.
