Job summary

Headland Archaeology is seeking a Project Manager for Geophysical Survey in Ireland. The role is based in Tallaght/Dublin with hybrid options and involves leading commercial geophysics projects, tender preparation, budgeting and team leadership across Ireland, the EU and the UK.

You will apply archaeology and geophysics expertise, oversee field and office work, and collaborate with construction professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of Irish commercial archaeology and planning legislation.
• Experience delivering archaeological geophysics projects in Ireland.
• Ability to collaborate with construction professionals on integrated civils/archaeology projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data processing packages.
• Full, valid driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field and office geophysics projects in Ireland.
• Prepare tenders and run projects to programme and budget.
• Advise clients using archaeological and geophysical expertise.
• Develop and nurture commercial relationships and new business opportunities.
