Job summary

EZO EV Charging is seeking a motivated GIS & Planning Intern to support EV infrastructure planning across Ireland and the UK. You will assist with GIS analysis, spatial data management, and site feasibility studies to support growth.

Working with the Network Planning Team, you will analyse existing charging networks, identify expansion opportunities, and prepare maps and analytical reports to inform data-driven planning decisions.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, Transport Planning, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and mapping techniques.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro or QGIS through coursework or internships.
• Interest in EV infrastructure, sustainable mobility, transport systems, and spatial planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

The role will involve assisting with GIS analysis, spatial data management, and site feasibility studies to support the growth of EV charging infrastructure. The intern will work closely with the Network Planning Team to analyse existing charging networks, identify opportunities for expansion, and contribute to data-driven planning decisions.

What We Are Looking For

• Recently completed, a degree in GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, Transport Planning, or a related field.
• Understanding and hands-on experience of GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and mapping techniques.
• Experience using ArcGIS Pro or QGIS through coursework, projects, internships, or personal learning.
• Interest in EV infrastructure, sustainable mobility, transport systems, and spatial planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with datasets and interpret spatial information.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, spatial analytics, or geospatial data processing would be an advantage but is not essential.
