Job summary

Qualifications

• Be registered as a medical practitioner in Ireland.
• Provide GP services under the GMS contract with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Accept clinical responsibility for listed patients and manage treatment.
• Treat patients or transfer to specialist care when needed and follow discharge.
• Utilise efficient, economic forms of care respecting patient needs.
• Provide required certificates and keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with community and diagnostic services during care when available.
• Stay informed on developments in clinical care relevant to general practice.
