Job summary

Company Details Confidential is seeking an experienced Fencing Installer to join our construction team in Ireland. The role focuses on installing and erecting a wide range of fencing to a high standard, based on site plans and installation specifications.

You will carry out timber fencing installations (panel, closeboard, featheredge, hit-and-miss, picket), concrete fencing and steel/palisade types, as well as chain-link and stock/deer fencing.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing a wide range of fencing types.
• Ability to read site plans, measurements and installation specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install timber fencing including panel, closeboard, featheredge, hit-and-miss and picket fencing.
• Install post and panel or post and rail fencing systems.
• Install and maintain concrete fencing with posts, panels and gravel boards.
• Install various fencing types including palisade, mesh, welded mesh and twin-wire fencing.
• Install chain-link fencing and posts with fittings; install stock, agricultural and deer fencing.
• Install and adjust gates, set posts, hinges and latches; carry out post driving and hole preparation.
• Carry out concreting, ensure alignment and level; tension wires and fixings.
• Maintain safe working practices and keep tools and site areas clean and well maintained.
• Read site plans and work to installation specifications; perform general groundworker duties as required.

Job Description

Install and erect a wide range of fencing and boundary treatments to a highstandard.

• Carry out timber fencing installations, including timber panel fencing, closeboardfencing, featheredge fencing, hit-and-miss fencing and picket fencing.
• Install post and panel and post and rail fencing systems.
• Install concrete fencing, including concrete posts, precast concrete panels,slotted concrete posts and gravel boards.
• Install and maintain steel palisade, security fencing, mesh fencing, welded mesh,weldmesh, V-mesh fencing and twin-wire fencing.
• Install chain-link fencing, including posts, straining wires and associated fittings.
• Install stock fencing, agricultural fencing and deer fencing.
• Install specialist acoustic fencing and temporary site hoarding where required.
• Complete gate installation and gate hanging, including setting posts, hinges,latches and associated hardware.
• Carry out post driving using a post knocker and prepare post holes using apost-hole auger where appropriate.
• Undertake concreting posts, ensuring posts are correctly aligned, levelled andsecurely installed.
• Carry out wire tensioning and installation of associated fencing wires and fixings.
• Complete fence repairs, replacements and remedial works.
• Carry out general ground preparation and associated groundworker duties.
• Read and work from site plans, measurements and installation specifications.
• Maintain safe working practices and ensure work is completed in accordancewith company and site requirements.
• Keep tools, plant, vehicles and work areas clean, safe and well maintained.
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attentionto detail.
