Salary is €35,000 per annum for a full-time permanent position. Training will be provided on products and wire-cutting equipment, with a stable long-term opportunity in Cork.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or general operative experience preferred.

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a well-established electrical supply company based in Cork. This is a hands‑on role involving a mixture of warehouse duties, order preparation and wire/cable cutting.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Cutting electrical wire and cable to required measurements
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Loading and unloading stock
• Organising and maintaining stock within the warehouse
• Ensuring all orders are prepared accurately and on time
• Carrying out general warehouse and housekeeping duties
• Following all company health and safety procedures
• Assisting colleagues with other general operative duties as required

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, general operative or similar experience would be an advantage
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, physical environment
• Good attention to detail, particularly when measuring and cutting wire
• Reliable with a strong work ethic

• Full driving licence and own car are essential
