Job summary

Global investment firm in Dublin seeks a Machine Learning / Gen AI Engineer to design, implement and enhance Gen AI solutions including RAG, Prompt Engineering, Fine Tuning, and API development. Strong analytics, Python/Java coding, and experience with AWS services are required to build secure data pipelines and hosting for AI models.

Key duties include deploying models on SageMaker, integrating Snowflake or RDS for analytics data hosting, and developing Python-based APIs using FastAPI or Flask.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years hands on development experience in Machine Learning System.
• Experience with Gen AI solutions with LLMs, LangChain, LangSmith, LlamaIndex, Prompt Engineering and Fine tuning.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java.
• Solid experience with developing python-based APIs (FastAPI/Flask).
• Experience building feature engineering pipelines, deploying AI models, and optimizing model inference.
• Design and develop ML/DL systems using appropriate ML algorithms/frameworks.
• Experience with security, data, and AI pipeline technologies (RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow) and IaC (Terraform, Python, Ansible, CFT).
• Demonstrated work experience using AWS services: SageMaker deployment, Snowflake or RDS hosting for analytics, EC2/EKS setup.
• Work with data to create models and perform statistical analysis, train/retrain models to optimize performance.
• Run ML tests and experiments.
• Experience with search platforms like Apache SOLR, Elastic Search or OpenSearch is a plus.
• Superior SQL skills and experience with deep data analysis on multiple DB platforms.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and improve Gen AI solutions including RAG, Prompt Engineering, and Fine Tuning.
• Develop APIs and data pipelines for hosting and deployment of ML models.
• Work with AWS services and cloud-based data platforms for analytics and hosting.
• Collaborate with data teams to train and retrain models to optimize performance.
• Evaluate and iterate on ML models and experimental results.
