Job summary

Comer Group Ireland is seeking a Full Time Domestic Plumber to join the Maintenance Team in Tallaght. The role involves supporting water and gas works across commercial and residential properties, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with national standards.

Ideal candidates hold gas installation certification and have strong communication with a proactive, hands-on approach. 2-3 years in a similar role is preferred; Fire Warden/First Aid certificates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Gas installation certification and registration (essential).
• Fire Warden and First Aid certificates (beneficial).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, time management and organisational skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Team to complete all water and gas works across company-managed properties.
• Read and interpret blueprints to plan plumbing installations and layouts.
• Install, maintain, repair, inspect and test plumbing systems and household appliances to national standards.
• Communicate with Estate Manager, Maintenance Team, and Property Managers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Identify and report preventative maintenance and utilities issues; respond to emergency call-outs when required.
• Adhere to Health & Safety, Lone Worker Policy, Safe Driving for Work handbook and Employee Handbook.
