This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Gardener required - CE Scheme. This is a developmental opportunity for a reliable person who is motivated and flexible and who has a very keen interest in gardening , particularly vegetable beds and glasshouse gardening . 19.50 hours per week. No experience necessary as training provided . All mandatory training must be attended.

Duties:

• Operate and maintain light duty garden machinery/tools e.g. lawn mower, rotivator.
• Preparation (digging) and sowing of community vegetable beds.
• Maintenance and weeding of vegetable beds and surrounding areas
• Preparation, clearing out and sowing of glass houses.
• Sowing of tomatoes and watering of same.
• Pruning of trees and orchard area.
• Seed Saving, planting and harvesting.
• Sales of garden produce.
• Interacting with the public/community groups.
