Job summary

The Maples Group is seeking a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join the Irish Funds and Investment Management Group in Ireland. The role is suitable for an experienced PSL or fee earner with a minimum of six years’ PQE in a funds-focused practice.

The role involves knowledge management, client engagement and practice development, with scope for flexible working patterns. Primary responsibilities include drafting precedents, monitoring market developments and delivering training, as well as

Qualifications

Qualified lawyer with a minimum of six years’ experience at a leading funds-focused law firm.
Experience as a PSL is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of knowledge management technology and document automation systems is advantageous.
Strong analytical, drafting and technical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication; strong academic background.

Responsibilities

Develop precedents, legal guides and practice notes.
Research market developments and trends in funds and investment management.
Prepare concise briefings, alerts and topical emails for internal teams and clients.
Coordinate internal and external training sessions on legal matters.
Create and deliver thought leadership content, presentations, podcasts and webinars.
Support client development and marketing efforts; participate in client meetings and events.
Review and update checklists and standard documents for consistency.
Promote knowledge systems across global teams.
